- The Nordic ski trails at Roberts Farm are closed until further notice. It's a sheet of ice out there, please help us protect the base. Send us your best snow dance.

12/19/25: Roberts Farm Preserve Nordic Center Trail Report:
- Base- 4"
- New Snow- 0"
- The Nordic ski trails at Roberts Farm are closed today to preserve the base. High winds are expected later today, so staying out of the woods would be a prudent decision. Cross your fingers we’ll have good news to report tomorrow, however, dancing for snow may be the most effective action.The Nordic trails will most likely stay closed until we receive more snow, and anticipate the Walker Trail will be icy after today’s rain. Traction recommended.

12/18/25: Roberts Farm Preserve Nordic Center Trail Report:
- Base- 5"
- New Snow- 0"
- Spring conditions. All trails but Libby skiable. Thin spots have expanded, and water bar dips are more prevalent. More than likely, this will be the last ski day for a while. Not even Pollyanna can put lipstick on the lips of this forecast!
12/17/25: Roberts Farm Preserve Nordic Center Trail Report: -
- Base- 5"
- New Snow- 0"
- Packed powder. All trails but Libby open and groomed. No track set. Dips and thin spots. If it gets above freezing today the packed powder will soften to a spring -like surface. If you like spring, wait until Friday.
12/16/25: Roberts Farm Preserve Nordic Center Trail Report:
- Base- 5"
- New Snow- 0"
- All but the Libby Trail are skiable with dips and thin spots. No track is set. In order not to stir up debris, we won't be grooming any more until we get more snow. We are open to anyone with unusual powers to make that happen.

12/15/25: Roberts Farm Preserve Nordic Center Trail Report:
- Base- 6"
- New Snow- 1"
- Packed Powder, some dips and thin spots, no Track Set
- Skate Park:We will run the groomer over the new snow which will make for some good freestyle skiing. We won't set tracks until we get more snow. We also won't look at the forecast for the end of the week!

12/14/25: Roberts Farm Preserve Nordic Center Trail Report:
- Base- 6" +/-
- New Snow- Dusting to 1"
- Packed Powder, All Trails Open, No Track Set
- We had to erase the track because it had too many irregularities and bare spots. There is a nice corduroy left behind. Watch for dips.
- The Warming Hut is not open for for Nordic ski or snowshoe rentals. Anticipated opening: 12/27/25

12/13/25: Roberts Farm Preserve Nordic Center Trail Report:
- New Snow: 0-inches
- Base- 6" +/-, Packed Powder, All Trails Open, Variable Track
- This is January snow with early season caveats. There are dips and some thin spots you need to consider. We will re-evaluate the track after today to decide if it should be redone or erased.
- The Warming Hut is not open for for Nordic ski or snowshoe rentals. Anticipated opening: 12/27/25

12/12/25: Roberts Farm Preserve Nordic Center Trail Report:
- New Snow: 5-inches
- Base: 5-6 inches
- Packed Powder.
- Welcome Back! We will open at noon today. All trails have been corduroyed and we will track as much as possible. The usual early season issues of water bar dips and possible thin spots exist. But get out there and enjoy some good late fall skiing!
- The Warming Hut is not open for for Nordic ski or snowshoe rentals. Anticipated opening: 12/27/25 -
