The Norway Triathlon is a United States Triathlon (USAT)-sanctioned sprint triathlon that combines swimming, bicycle riding, and running.
Competitors begin with a 750-meter swim on a triangular course from Norway’s Pennesseewassee Park beach area near Route 118. Upon returning to the beach, swimmers will run to the transition area, mount their bikes for a 12.4 mile (20 km) ride up 118, taking a right turn on the Greenwood Road to a turnaround point beyond the Richardson Hollow Road. Once back at the transition area the final leg begins; a 3.1 mile (5 km) run through the paved roads of the Ashton neighborhood. The finish line is back in Pennesseewassee Park. Individual competitors undertake all three legs. Relay teams may be formed with 2 or 3 competitors. Racers of all abilities are encouraged to compete.

All proceeds of the Norway Triathlon will benefit Western Foothills Land Trust and will go towards maintenance and improvements of our trails and trailheads.
